Guidelines for the Northeastern Conference
Youth Ministries Sports Commission
Preamble & Purpose
To:
- Regulate all entites of sports within the NEC territory.
- Provide an avenue for the recreational and re-creational developemnt of the physical aspect of the youth and the young in heart.
- Foster, strenghten and encourage the developement of the spiritual, social and mental dimensions of the youth and the young at heart in the NEC.
Membership
The members of the Commission shal be regular and active members of any church in the NEC with agenuine interest in the holistic development of the youth in the NEC. The composition of the Commision shall be those who head the various segments of the Sporting activities sponsored by the Youth Ministries Department.
The Executive Committee
The Executive Committee shall consists of all the Head Commisioners or in his/her absence, a representative from each segment of the sporting activities.
Selection of Sports Commission
The Youth Direct will recomment to the Youth Advisory for approval, the Commissioner for each segment of the sporting activities.
